Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 21, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Verdyct (the “Service”), operated by the developer behind Verdyct (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, uploading data, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Verdyct for an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept on its behalf. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. What Verdyct Does

You upload your own customer-feedback data (for example CSV exports of support tickets, NPS responses, or open-text survey answers), and the Service uses AI to organize it into themes, track them over time, estimate their impact, and help you see whether changes you made resolved the underlying issues.

3. Accounts

You sign in with an email magic link or with Google. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your access secure.

4. Your Data, Your Responsibility

You own your data. You keep all rights to the feedback, text, and files you upload (“Customer Data”). We claim no ownership.

Limited permission to run the Service. You give us permission to store, process, and transmit your Customer Data only to operate the Service for you — which includes sending feedback text to our AI provider (OpenAI) for analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don’t use it for anything else.

Your warranties. Your Customer Data usually comes from your own end users and often contains their personal information (names, emails, comments). You confirm that you have the right to upload it, that you’ve given any required notices and obtained any required consents from those individuals (enough to allow processing by us and by OpenAI), that you have a lawful basis to do so, and that your upload doesn’t break any law or infringe anyone’s rights. You’re responsible for claims that arise from uploading data you didn’t have the right to upload.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • upload more than the per-upload row limit shown in the app (currently 1,000 rows);
  • upload especially sensitive data such as health records, government IDs, or payment-card numbers;
  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you have no right to submit;
  • try to break, probe, or bypass the Service’s security or authentication;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows; or
  • use the Service to build a competing product, or resell access without our consent.

6. AI and Other Providers

To run the Service we rely on third parties acting on our behalf: OpenAI (your uploaded feedback text is sent to its API for analysis — this is essential to the Service) and Supabase (which stores your account data, uploads, and results). Details are in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to this processing.

7. Free Service, Changes, and Ending Use

The Service is free right now, with no paid tier or billing. Because it’s free and still evolving, we may change, suspend, or discontinue it at any time, and we’ll try to give notice of major changes when practical. If we ever introduce fees, we’ll give reasonable advance notice first.

You can stop using the Service anytime — you can delete your projects in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and data by email (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Sections that should naturally outlast your use — ownership, warranties, disclaimers, and liability limits — survive.

8. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI-generated themes, impact estimates, or other outputs will be accurate. AI outputs are probabilistic and meant to assist your judgment, not replace it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it will not exceed US $100 (or local equivalent). Some places don’t allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

10. Changes, Governing Law, and Contact

We may update these Terms; when we do, we’ll change the “Last Updated” date and may ask you to accept the new version before continuing. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: verdyctai@gmail.com.
